0212 - Farm

A phone rings on a table but no one is at home to pick it up. Hoskins sits in an armchair nearby. He tells us that nowadays when you're out, you can also be in. We cut to a farmer, Peter, pulling a haycart in a tractor. Hoskins sits on top of the bales. Peter's pager beeps and he stops the tractor. He goes to a phone booth in the middle of the field. He uses a BT charge card to call his boss. We cut to the boss talking with another farmer about a bull he's trying to sell. The farmer is lukewarm about the animal. Hoskins tells us that Peter's boss isn't at home to answer the phone so he's diverted calls to his mobile. The boss answers Peter's call on his mobile. Pretending that Peter is another potential buyer, he tells him that the bull is still for sale and that he'll get back to him. Peter is confused by his boss's words. The other farmer overhears the conversation and agrees to buy to the bull. We cut to a BT Out & About brochure showing various devices and telecom solutions. Hoskins tells us that the brochure is free as well as the freephone number to call to obtain one. He continues riding in the haycart as Peter drives the tractor. Hoskins: "It's good to talk".
